Funded by the Embassy of France in Uzbekistan, Jazz-Maqom had the opportunity to implement :

​

a Residency in Tashkent 18-23 October 2021

and two concerts in Tashkent 23-24 October  in "Ilhom" theatre and "Muqqimi" theatre.

 

performed by four european and  five Uzbek musicians.

​

By bringing the maqôms to life in a different way, it is also a question of making this form better

known as

in its original form as  a cultural 

heritage

​
